Choosing a fan for smoke extraction from a chimney is simple. Just the surface of the chimney opening should be taken into account.

To calculate the necessary flow-rate and thus select a suitable fan, we simply multiply the surface in square meters, by the air speed in m/s by 3600. Q = S · V · 3600

FOCCETA is the most suitable Casals option for chimneys as it supports 200ºC. Other roof options are CTH-3A and CTH4, whose flow is much higher and withstand a working temperature of 110ºC.
