DEPRESSION DAMPER (HORIZONTAL or VERTICAL PLACEMENT)
Depression damper for ascending air flow in the intake. The slats block the passage of air when the fan is stopped while when the fan is running the slats move by depression allowing the passage of air. Robust U-shaped frame. The special holes in the corners allow a connection with common union systems on the market such as a duct working in plenum mode. It maintains the overpressure or depression inside a room with respect to the outside or another adjoining room.
MANUFACTURING FEATURES:
- Galvanized steel frame, U-shaped to install in a duct.
- Aluminum slats.
- Ø12 shafts in galvanized steel.
- Ø12 bronze bushings.
- Suitable for 400°/2h (not certified) and temperatures below zero.
- It can be installed directly to the fan, although the use of the frame (B CMP) is recommended.
- Suitable for speed 18 m/s and with some turbulence.

Union FRAME between CMP-HUT and BOX HB, or and roof fans. The frame ensures a perfect coupling between the fan and the CMP-HUT damper. The frame ensures the minimum distance recommended by Casals between the damper and the fan to reduce the impact of pressure loss, as well as turbulent air impacting against the slats, thus increasing the reliability of the product over the years, reducing noise and vibrations in the duct system, and ensuring the performances studied according to laboratory tests.
