These are low-profile helicocentrifugal fans designed for inline installation, featuring ultra-quiet operation and high energy efficiency.
Within their category, they are the quietest on the market and hold IMQ certification, ensuring their sound levels, performance, and electromagnetic compatibility.
The fan casing is made of durable plastic with a microperforated ogival core and flow-straightening blades to minimise turbulence issues. These characteristics make them particularly quiet, ideal for spaces requiring low-noise operation, such as offices, waiting rooms, meeting rooms, libraries, and residential areas.
With high energy efficiency levels, they comply with the requirements of EU regulations ERP 327/2011, ERP 1253/2014, and anticipated future updates. The KUVIO-Q and KUVIO-Q EEC fans are distinguished by their high performance, low power consumption, reduced noise emissions, and ease of installation and maintenance.
Maintenance is exceptionally straightforward due to the absence of fibres or mats in the equipment’s insulation.
KUVIO-Q fans feature casings made from injection-moulded technopolymer, certified for fire resistance class E2 in compliance with EN ISO 11925-2:2010. They also boast a high level of water ingress protection (IP45).
The electrical box is crafted from plastic, ensuring electrical and fire resistance.
The central core, equipped with circular outlets at both ends for duct connections, can rotate around its axis, facilitating installation in tight spaces and simplifying wiring and maintenance.
The unit’s easy disassembly—without altering the duct system—speeds up and simplifies maintenance. Simply release the clamp tabs to separate the fan body from the inlets and remove it from the duct. Once the screws connecting the two halves of the casing are removed, the insulated fan core is accessible. Reassembly is equally simple, requiring no additional components, and maintaining the tested noise levels.
The ogival core corrects airflow after passing through the turbine. Together with the flow straightener, it prevents energy losses caused by turbulence.
The microperforations, combined with Helmholtz resonators, reduce noise at predetermined frequencies.
The KUVIO-Q EEC version features electronically controlled brushless EC motors (low energy consumption). Each speed can be configured during installation. Alternatively, the units can operate at a single speed, adjustable via a 0-10 V signal.
Nominal diameters range from Ø100 to Ø315 mm.
Airflows up to 2,600 m³/h.
The KUVIO range fans bear the CE mark of conformity, complying with the directives and regulations listed below. They also meet safety and electromagnetic compatibility directives and hold IMQ certification.
