Strategic Communications
Clients turn to Casals & Associates to augment their ongoing communications efforts as well as design and implement short-and long-term public outreach campaigns.
Casals & Associates specializes in developing messages sensitive to socio-cultural, geographic or other demographic differences and then delivering them in ways that inform, influence and motivate target audiences. We are also known for building partnerships to leverage resources and increase impact and support.
Range of services:
- Health Communications. Casals & Associates designs and implements social marketing campaigns that advance personal and public health. Our solid, research-based methodology begins with identifying and addressing the motivations that make adopting new behaviors acceptable. Then we conduct a thorough analysis of the target audience, including its various segments and the community leaders who influence it. We combine this knowledge with creativity and targeted tactics to deliver innovative, compelling messages that resonate and make an impact.
- Strategic Counsel. Casals & Associates uses focus groups, interviews, surveys and other research instruments to analyze target audiences and information environments against our clients’ goals, objectives and resources. Then we develop and execute communications strategies that break through the clutter and ensure the right messages are heard by the right audience segments at the right times. Throughout the process, we monitor and evaluate effectiveness to identify needed mid-course corrections and measure success.
- Special Populations Outreach. To reach multicultural subgroups, senior citizens, young people, rural populations and other difficult-to-reach audiences, Casals & Associates carefully calibrates communications strategies and messages to speak directly to individuals’ lifestyles and experiences. We also cultivate special populations through community leaders, local organizations, clinics and places of worship—their existing trusting relationships and ways of getting information—to generate community support and approval for change.
- Event Planning and Management. Casals & Associates uses events to help clients unite like-minded individuals and groups into focused coalitions, providing the power of numbers to build a groundswell of support and deliver results. We also use events to motivate community leaders to deliver messages to hard-to-reach audiences. Our event planning and management services include coordinating all the many ingredients of a successful event—from the initial strategy development and venue selection to the post-event follow up and documentation.
- Data Gathering and Analysis. Casals & Associates’ data gathering and analysis provide insights into audiences’ perceptions and motivations as well as evaluate strengths and weaknesses of communications programs. Our qualitative research services include focus groups, structured and semi-structured interviews, and advisory panels gauging the views of individuals of different geographic locations; genders; and social-cultural, age or income groups. Our quantitative research includes surveys and polls tracking broad public opinion.
- Editorial and Multimedia Services. Whether developing state-of-the art multimedia graphic images or standard communications tools, such as brochures and posters, Casals & Associates creates products that resonate with target audiences, make clients’ messages come alive, and invite people to linger for more information.
